Toshiba air to air heat pumps

Toshiba's home heating and cooling range in the UK is mainly air to air split systems, with wall units such as Haori (with a fabric-covered front), Shorai Edge and Seiya, plus multi-split outdoor units.

Toshiba also sells Estia air-to-water heat pumps, which get the larger £7,500 grant.

Before you choose a model

  • Compare the heating SCOP on the energy label, not the cooling figure.
  • Check heating output at low outdoor temperatures on the spec sheet.
  • For the £2,500 grant, check the exact model is listed for air to air on the MCS product directory, and that your installer is MCS certified for air to air.
  • Ask whether the warranty is longer when fitted by the brand's approved installer, and what servicing it needs.
